corey1138
Bottom line.. Stardock invented the skinning seen, and was doing all this before M$ and OSX ever thought of it. In fact its where the idea came from. It has been proven that Stardock apps (Windows blinds exct..) use less performance then msstyles. If you experience pour performance with it you have an underlying performance issue with your PC (Hardware or software). Besides, theirs no way to know every PC configuration (Hardware and software) and account for all the bugs. Windows XP still has thousands of bugs but its still the predominate OS with good stability. (I say this as someone who runs Linux mostly) Windows runs fine until you start installing 3erd party apps... this was said at a Trend and MS conference we went to. I find it strange for people to flame Stardock when the basically invented skinning as we know it today. They work hard to make the apps stable and low resources. phot0nic
bangbang023: While I experience no performance problems with Windowblinds, I do understand that some do. Corey1138 above me pretty much sums this up nicely. However, my comment was mostly directed at OB being a suite full of bloatware. The fact is, about half of the programs in the suite aren't even running in the background under normal conditions, and are by no means bloatware in any other definition. I however, felt the need to explain that I have tried most of the other programs in the OD suite that do run in the background, and I (and MANY others) experience no problems. So, my point was to not label a product as bloatware simply because it doesn't run well on YOUR machine. Guest sendmarksmail
Before I purchase OD2005, does WindowBlinds 5 Beta startup after a restart or do I have to manually enable themes? I know WB4.6 starts up on its own, but does WB5 Beta?
