but there is no unity to it all.

in my opinion thats pretty much the point. and what really makes android different. while unity is great, i like the idea of being able to "make it mine", wheather some find it cluttered or not.

all the jailbroken iphone screenshots look more or less the same, while definately awesome, while the android screens are on one hand easily recognized as android but also are that certain users interpretation of how it should look in order to make their workflow ... flow.

im not saying that you cant make the iphone look like you want it to look but you do need to go through some steps that some users might find a bit complicated. on android, you can do most of the stuff seen here out of the box.

most of the stuff, i say.

but it sure is easier to take a freaking screenshot on the iphone. :D

You know some of these Android desks look great. Others just look so cluttered. I mean I like the fact that you can pretty much put the icons where you want and such, but there is no unity to it all.

there doesn't need to be unity. i love the fact i can do whatever i want to my desktop.

how so? on android i use shoot me and all i do is start the app and shake my phone to take the photo, how hard is that to do?

as far as i know you have to root your device to use shoot me.

the only way to take screens without rooting is via the SDK.
