You should look at the latest cyanogen rom.

That was my plan. I just got the official update to 1.6 today, and I'll play around with that for a bit before making a decision whether to go for CyanogenMod. I'm a bit weary about rooting and installing a custom firmware. I had a not so pleasant experience with trying a custom firmware yesterday, and was afraid that I may have bricked the phone.

Thanks, but I'll need a slightly higher resolution for my Desire. Around 960x800... *starts hunting*

Oh dude, sorry. I've found this wallpaper on DeviantArt this morning, but forgot the name of it. The diagonal lines I added on Photoshop.

Here's a updated version of my Magic. :D

It looks more minimalistic now.

There'd probably be more if taking a screenshot on Android wasn't so convoluted :p

ummmm...fail! start shootme and shake your phone...done!

compared to a year ago when this thread was filled with iphone and winmo id say android is pretty popular round here.

Really? Connect phone --> run \android-sdk\tools\ddms.bat --> Refresh --> Capture.

Hardly convoluted ;)

Just to be clear, I'm a huge Android fan (I've got my Hero and just bought a Desire about 2 hours ago), but having to plug your phone in and run a debug program on your computer to take a screenshot is a bit of pain in the ass lol

Alright, there's that too :p

i dunno ive always been root. i think i heard it will work anyways.

Straight from the market:

"Only supports ***ROOTED*** devices."

So no, the device needs to be rooted to get it working.

@Downhillrider

What tweaks are visible in the third of your shots?

What is that music information at the top? Triggered when you open the multitask bar?

And is that the album cover in the bottom right? Usually shows the icon of the app you control...

I second this request.
