x-byte Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 Even though the PS1 had a ton of third party support, you would think that developers outside Japan would switch to a different console if they thought the PS2 was so diffcult to work with, but they didn't. Companies like EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar, continued to develop their multiplatform games with the PS2 in mind. So it is sort of a lame excuse that people say about the PS3 that developers won't develop for it because it is too hard to work with. They worked with the difficulties PS2, I am sure developers will do the same with the PS3. 586621392[/snapback] Sure. The only people who really utilized the PS2 were Japanese developers (Square-Enix, Konami, SECA, Polyphonic, etc.) because the dev kit was in their native language. There is no reason why the same Japanese developers wouldn't be able to utilize the PS3 and have the same percentage that use the full power again. I'd say that it's almost certain Nintendo wouldn't have designed the Revolution the way it is if Nintendo were still the leader in the console market.
