predictions for playoff spots and the outcomes of all the games anyone?

East:-

1:Ottawa

2:Carolina

3:NY Rangers

4:Buffalo

5:Philly

6:New Jersey

7:Tampa Bay

8:Atlanta

Ottawa will take this conference by one or two points over Carolina and Atlanta will get the 8th spot, but only just.

West:-

1:Detroit

2:Dallas

3:Colorado

4:Nashville

5:Calgary

6:Los Angeles

7:Edmonton

8:San Jose

Detroit will take the Western Conference quite comfertably, Colorado will do just enough to take the Northwest division from Calgary and San Jose will do enough to take the final spot.

My pick for the Stanley Cup is going to be Carolina, especially if they get Cole back.

pittsburg needs a new stadium, 2 blackouts pfff ruined my leafs game.

Yeah, those two blackouts ruined the Leaf's 5 minute major powerplay. They failed to register a shot at all. The two games against Montreal should be interesting, not that I'm expecting a playoff birth or anything.

Nor should you. ;)

Habs aren't going anywhere in the playoffs ;)

no one said anything about the playoffs Matrix... we're not delusional like some fans who plan the parade route after a win *cough* Leafs *cough*

and last i checked Vancouver was in the exact same position as Montreal

Not only did the Canucks win last night, they looked damned good. Though they were only playing LA Kings, they were playing as a team and they kept out of the penalty box (for the most part).

I hope this puts some life back into these guys, and they can sturdy themselves going into the playoffs.

The avs are leading the northwest divion now which is good news, now all they have to do is keep it. Their next game is against Calgary. Should be an interesting game, too bad there isn't any hockey coverage in Britain.

Martin Brodeur got his 438th victory today with the win over the Flyers. He's fourth all time now. Only Sawchuck (447), Belfour (457), and Roy (551) have more victories than him.

The amazing part about it is, he has done this with one team.

And Brodeur recently re-signed with the Devils for another 4 or 5 years!!! So he is on pace to even beat Roy if he doesnt fall to injury, or begin to suffer to old age.

He will turn 34 in early May. He could pass Roy in 3-4 seasons.
