How to clean feces (YES, FECES) off a motherboard

This sucks. Ok, dont use alcohol, alcohol will conduct electricity and dmg the board if there's any electrical charges in any of your capacitors. Best thing to try is to heat it up, using a Blow Dryer until all the yuck gets dried into powder then you a brush to get it off.

Basically:

Blow Dryer or something to heat up the yuck

Brush to dust off the yuck

Good Luck.

Not exactly. As long as he uses almost pure alcohol, it will evaporate.

Also, don't use a blow dryer, because it creates LOTS of static electricity which would be MUCH worse than alcohol.

Not to threadjack or anything but here's the GeForce thread from nvnews.com

Hi,

Umm.. awkward and hypothetical question here, what if... how do I phrase this.. Lets say a "friend" of mine was "pleasuring himself" in the middle of working on upgrading his PC, with the card on the table, he made a "mess" of the card. After the reinstall, the card no longer works, while it was working perfectly before, my "friend" is curious what kind of damage would seminary fluid do to the GPU in question? It was all over the card and on the fan, is it possible the fan itself sucked the fluid into the main GPU and short circuited it? Remember before this card was working 100% and my "friend" observed nothing else out of the ordinary besides the semen.

Advice? can my "friend" return this card? warranty? anything "he" can do to repair it?

Funniest part: the thread was "stickied."

HAHAHA wow, that has to suck hardcore. I don't know what to tell you, q-tips + rubbing alcohol = best option I would think.

Hopefully it is still functioning, if not, make that baby not be able to "function" anymore.

This reminds me of when my sister threw fruit punch on my old MSI nforce3 board. Go to autozone, and look for electrical cleaner. It's used for alternators and batteries, it'll work the same on PC parts. I guarantee this will remove the poo from the board, whether it'll work or not, that I can't promise. It's a good 70-30 chance that it'll boot up fine. The cleaner worked on fruit punch on my mobo and dark cola on my friend's PS1. I can't stress enough how good this stuff works.

It's called CRC Lectra Motive, Electric Parts Cleaner. Here's a picture to better help you.
