mills2444 Posted July 21, 2002 Share Posted July 21, 2002 hi, i was just offerd recently a purchase of my friends imac 350mhz slot loader, its in good condition and he is offering it to me for 150 bucks, however i am curious on how high a processor i can shove in it, companies mac upgrade cards for imacs that go up to g4 500's but thats only for the tray models so if anyone could help me out here thatd be great, i guess i just wanna get some useablity out of this thing and get maybe a g4 in it IF i can thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mills2444 Posted July 21, 2002 Author Share Posted July 21, 2002 well after much research it looks like upgrades the conventional way are not known for this machine, ill have to look into buying the actual g3 proc and shovin it in , however hopefully ill find a good use for this machine, maybe get some DVD going (not sure if it has a DVD drive or CD rom) and use it as a little movie box, i definately will get some use out of this should i buy it though , thanks for the help on that tim later all miss millie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mills2444 Posted July 21, 2002 Author Share Posted July 21, 2002 no matter, the whole thing didnt work out, as for those cards , READ BEFORE YOU POST, if you will notice those cards work on imac 333mhz's at the most! i was posting about a 350mhz, so you posting those links was useless, i already checked everywhere for upgrades but went here incase someone knew a place i didnt check.
