chrisgeleven Posted November 4, 2005 Share Posted November 4, 2005 (edited) http://desktop.google.com/ Some new things I have noticed: * Google Maps is now available as a panel * There is a calendar panel plugin (just shows the month, you can't add events or anything like that). * There is now an alerts toaster, which will flash up news that might interest you and e-mails at random times it appears. I installed a beta, but uninstalled it again, since a) could not chose a city outaside US in weather.... is this possible now? E.g. Copenhagen? b) took an amazing amount of memory even if I did not have the sidebar running, there would still be a process saying it was...
