Amilcar
Hi, I'm a Windows user who will buy an old iMac G3 (my first Mac!) but i would like to run OS X, and I don't know if this machine is able to do it. Until I know, it's very old (maybe from the first models), had a G3 running at 266 mhz, 128 RAM, 6 mb of video memory and a 6gb IDE hard drive. At this moment, i'ts runnign Mac OS 8.1, and runs quit well, but I'm wondering if it's enough to run OSX ?What dou you think? Any comment or advice well be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dazzla Veteran Posted July 24, 2002 Veteran Share Posted July 24, 2002 Well Timan has a G3, I think it's at 400 with 64mb ram, I'm not sure. Anyway, he's been using the latest betas of Jaguar and he is pleased with the speed. Wait until he comes online and tells us his exact specs.
