Melody Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 Your Royale Vista is absolutely wonderful, thank you very much. Kol's VistaXP and yours are the two best Vista skins in my opinion. May be because both of you don't implement the black toolbar background. I like the thin task bar, the scroll bar, the toolbar gray background and Firefox looks better under Royale Vista. Things I like in VistaXP that I am wondering if you can implement it in Royale Vista too: - Min/Max /Close buttons: blue/red mouse rollover effects - Taskbar mouse over effects (yours is OK but is less visible on a laptop) - Tabs - Mouseover effect of the Start button And is it possible to do another color? For example the dark blue marine used in the taskbar mouseover in Kol's VistaXP. Or the Dark green of Kol's VistaXP Start button. Thank you very much in advance. thorazine Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 This is the first Vista style that doesnt look bad in XP, specially the compact variation. The tabs are probably the best I've seen on any style, the active tab top color bar its a bit too thick, sometimes it covers the text. Also like someone else said, mouseover effects would be nice (same blue glow as buttons maybe?). Main buttons need a different color for default button (having the same as rollover its a bit confusing). Taskbar mouseover and active app button color is too subtle to be seen easily without looking twice. Maybe a blue glow could work better. Anyway active app taskbar button should more very cleary visible. The only real problem I see is using too much grey text on gray backgrounds, this makes most of the text (including for example Windows Explorer file list or just normal text like Notepad's) too dim. But overall a defo keeper top job. Winamp skin would rule.
