The "First Game I Ever Played" on my PC

Recommended Posts

hmmm first game I ever played....

that's hard; the first game I ever played and still remember playing is probably hero's quest 1, or one of the leisure suit larry's (either 1 or 2).

the first game I played that really got me addicted is a lot easier to answer: dune 2 :)

No just kidding. Some old DOS game... forgot the name... you get out of school for the summer and mess around, and you eventually have to get killed by the babysitter who is actually a bat... weird I know :s

I'm gonna go ahead and say Donkey (a game that came as a BAS file with MSDOS 2, or something like that).

Beyond that it would have to be Duke Nukem (the original - none 3D platformer).

The first game I played on my PC was Gorillas, for MS-DOS 5. I ran it on an IBM 8086, though I only had a black and white monitor... the first proper game I played was the original Lemmings.

  • 2 weeks later...

My first game was a simulation racing game that had tracks that go through tunnels. Forgot the name already but I always enjoyed playing it (Especially the crashes). Played it way back in 1993 on my father's IPC notebook. My first console game was Sonic for the Sega Megadrive 32 Bit. Other games I played in my wee young age on the PC:

Warcraft

Warcraft II

Zork 1, 2, 3, Zero (Anyone still playing this games?)

Beyond Zork (Same as above note)

Myst
