The "First Game I Ever Played" on my PC

Recommended Posts

On an IBM 8086 off a 10 inch floppy i played hangman in 1982. Green Monochrome display and all. No Mouse either.

First laptop game was Wavy Navy in 1986, it was gigantic and had to be plugged in. Again in Monochrome Brilliance.

well the first game i ever played was the original oregon trail.. like back in 3rd grade!.. but the first game i really played on a computer I built/owned was quake 3.. ironically i hated it but i played it coz we had a big lan and my friend needed someone on his team to play against like 5 of our other friends.. i ended up getting more kills than anyone else.. the more i played, the more i loved it.. and i've been hooked on fps ever since :D

hangman in 4th grade. the game was loaded from a cassette (the things before audio cd's) Took 10 minutes to load. was able to eject the tape before it was done and it would error out and let you draw using extended character sets.

LOL hacking back in 4th grade.....

Wing Commander was the first game i ever bought.
