The "First Game I Ever Played" on my PC

Recommended Posts

Been a long time, but it was probably Commander Keen. I also remember getting the original Doom when it was the "killer app" lol

If you mean on computers period, I remember the old game "Choplifter"

Buck Rogers and the planet of zoom! Played on a IBM with dual floppy drives, no hard drive in the PC! You had to boot from a floppy drive and load Dos first.

The real first game I played on MY computer was descent or cyberia. The first game I played was on an old tandy computer where you had to trim space off in a rectangle without allowing the ball(s) to hit the line as it's moving. If anyone remembers the name of the game im talking about let me know. :)

It was the one and only ROBOMAN.

I still remember how the monophonic internal speaker was our pride. And the olden games couldn't be saved too. Once reached level 49 after lots of hours of play, and my mom was screaming for me to turn it off (never ended it, sad).

Anyways the other favourite was a game named rally.exe (well in those days all the game could be integrated into a single exe), which featured a Toyota Celica, I think the game was by publisher/developer Gremlin. I have not found it on any retro-games portal, and if anybody knows, please PM me.

Day of The Tentacle, Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis, Rebel Assault. 500mhz Pentium from Micron, thought a 500MB hard drive was great. Now it's used as a server.
