But I don't even know the information for the newsgroups. But I don't even know the information for the newsgroups. When you click the join button, you're required to fill a pre-survey at the WLM8 site, which includes the following information right on the frontpage We know you are all anxious to get started so we have opened up the newsgroups for you to use. Here is a chance to get to know your fellow beta testers and start building a beta community that will help make Windows Live Messenger great. If you haven't set up your newsgroups you can do so by clicking the ?Community? link on the left and follow the instructions. I'm just curious :unsure: Well, there are some people that have been invited to test it, and a lot more that havent - check the "request for invites thread" if you wanna know how many :D . I dont know how they are releasing it concerning regions... but it has been released to the: USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Brazil, Korea, Netherlands, and Spain. Right now, WLM 8 is in "Managed Beta," which means that it is only avaliable to MSFT, MCI employees users who have tested previous closed-betas; users who signed up through http://connect.microsoft.com; some loyal blog readers , and handful of others.
