It is the same knee the Bulldogs' skipper injured in round six earlier this year against Geelong at Skilled Stadium. Darcy underwent a full knee reconstruction that ruled him out for the rest of the season. Senior Coach Rodney Eade said, "Luke?s injury is very unfortunate as he had been training well during his rehabilitation. With Luke out for the season, Tom Davidson will be given an opportunity to press for senior selection. As with this season, our young players will be given extra opportunity to lead our side and further develop their talents."
