Mando Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 For dual core CPU, the computer see it as two CPUs. Thus home will not support it. For whatever reason, go with Pro is the safest bet. XPH WILL work. The limit is physical cpus not logical cpus. Hence dual core CPUs are seen as 2 Logical CPUS and not as 2 physical cpus. A dual core CPU fit to one socket and that is seen my Windows as logical cpus. so im afraid mate you are wrong XPHome will work with a dual core CPU. :whistle: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
