Intel releases new logo

Recommended Posts

Not the best, but it's clean anyways... it has to be known that they are releasing this new logo with their processors as well, and will have redesigned processor logos to go along side this. Not sure if they will use the Leap Ahead with those logos. There was some images online of all the new logos including the new Intel logo posted here more than a month ago but can't find the link atm.

Those had Intel Inside on all the logos... so I wonder if they will just replace the words or do something else.

Intel Outside, Outside in the bin.

Logo looks pathetic, To be quite honest, The old logo and slogan looked and sounded so much better.

So, From now on, Leap ahead, Leap past the intel machines towards the AMD ones.

lol!!! good one.

Intel will be lucky enough to just be able to keep up with AMD, let alone "Leap Ahead", lol.

I like the new logo. Very modern looking.

Also, I can't believe the number of horrible comments I keep hearing. Now, I know people are entitled to their opinion, but some people are just going a little bit over the top.

not sure about it really. the old logo and slogan are iconic and instantly recognisable to just about everyone. this new logo is decent, clean, but lacks real originality and doesnt really signify or show anything. its just the lettering in a different font and an oval round it. big wow...

BT here in the UK actually did change their logo to a very different and updated "connected world" one from the old "piper" of the 90's. compare piper to connected world. each logo retains the original typeface and each also has a distinctive logo/picture to go with them. intels looks ok but thats it...just ok.

This much I do know, AMD was said to have an adge over intel back in August. Most analysts according to maximum PCmagazine claim it was a fluke, But AMD in October AGAIN!, edged out Intel in sales 49+% to Intels 48+%

My last intel processor was the intel pentium 133Mhz, the rest have been AMD
