bkellner
lol? the links in the top right don't show the border-top when you hover while in ie. though in firefox, they do. could microsoft be doing something on their website that their own browser doesn't support? at least the version i have. =p

samriley
well div layout isnt exactly correct design, theres a number of errors on that page transitional doctype, div's inplaces there they shouldnt for instance the menu is a list, so why use a load of divs when theres a perfectly good list element. but interms of design yea looks nice. Kenny McCormick
Very nice! I noticed that it looks better in FireFox than in IE. The search box is lower down on the page in IE.

Tomi
Microsoft and their "beta" obsession.... :pinch: ...isn't that Google? People who are still on 56k aren?t friendly anymore. :rofl:l: *thinks back to when he was stuck on 56k for dialup* I'll agree:D:D Something makes me think they outsourced that to a different team than their main website Like someone said before, they got a hold of Apple's design team:laugh:h:

+vlsi0n Subscriber¹ Posted January 5, 2006 Subscriber¹ Share Posted January 5, 2006 Nice site, but shame the mouseovers aren't pre-loaded. I noticed that right away, I was thinking it was such a given to do that but oh well, it's still a excellent design :D!

xMorpheousx416
I like this features:Windows Flip 3D If that tickles your fancy, you should take a look at this: Project Looking Glass Which, though still in development, was out way before Vista...and is alot more promising should this technology ever take off. Krpano
Its a fair design, no big deal. And the code, hmpf.....it seems it has only been optimized for IE, they still living in their own world.
Orange Battery
XP with bells and whistles for the generation that likes shiny things - sigh - thats what we get from having those colourful dangly things over babies cribs. From what Ive seen so far there is nothing I want Vista for but like I have a choice. So many years just for this? I haven't been impressed by any of the builds I run so far at all. Sorry guys, nothing personal.
Chode
Well, by my logic, windows XP did NOT have rounded corners. Maximized windows don't have round corners at all.   Rounded corners on windows that can not be maximised. Oh if only my monitor was round....
