To only extract those files download vista transformation pack and then go to run and choose open via browse and at the end of the pointed vista transformation pack write /X and there will be a screen that you can extraxt files

There's a similar boot screen here.

There's a logon here.

And the WMP 11 skin that Kudesnick linked to is awesome.

If you have already downloaded the Vista Transformation pack then you can do what Mahmood suggested and click your Start button>Run>browse> point to the downloaded (but not installed) pack> add /X to the line> click OK and that should bring up a dialog where you can choose what you want from the pack without having to install the whole thing.

p.s there were more vista bootscreens on Wincustomize, I just picked the one that mostly resembled the one from your screenshot.

Hope that helps.

Why don't you download the Pack and install it - then you will have what you want.

I installed the vista pack 3.0, and it makes my computer looks like the first attached picture vista001.jpg . but it's different from the pre-shown like attached vista002.jpg!

how to make my computer looks like the vista002.jpg?

my computer is a original Windows XP, without any pack1 or pack2 installed.

thanks...

another question: the sidebar could not work, it's said that some script couldn't work, why?

Go to Desktop, right-click it, click on Properties, click on the Appearance tab, and under Windows and buttons:, select one of the options in the dropdown menu, then click OK.
In VistaTP3 the wmp skin is old. That skin was created by russian guys. Now new version of WMP11_Skin is available. See there http://thevista.ru/forums.php?m=posts&q=1366&n=last#bottom

Does that WMP11 skin come in english?

I install it in two differents computers:

Computer #1

Pentium III 800Mhz

Ram 192 Mb

Windows XP SP2

Monitor Res. 1024 x 768

Color Quality Higest 24 bit

vista001.jpg

Computer #2

Pentium IV 3.0 Ghz

Ram 768 Mb

Windows XP SP2

Monitor Res. 1024 x 768

Color Quality 32 bit

Vista002.jpg

In computer #1 i can't change to vista002.jpg, so the only differences that i found are the Color Quality, Ram memory and Processor. I think is Color Quality. Somebody tell me if I'm wrong.
