NCAA football next year preditions

notre dame has no defense. no way they are a top 10 team next year.

my preseason top 5:

1. tOSU

2. LSU

3. Texas

4. Michigan

5. USC

Why does everyone write OSU "tOSU"???

And how nice of you to push Michigan so high up... :shiftyninja:

as much as we may have sucked this year, henne, hart, breaston, manningham will be back on offense, and are all top notch guys. we've been pretty young the past 2 years, and we've had our struggles, but i'm looking forward to pulling off a few more wins next year with our experience in key positions.

Mel Kiper's Top 10:

4. USC

Dont get that one. Dont get me wrong, I think USC will be a great team, but when you loose your stud QB and RB's...shouldnt you fall off a little bit?

USC will remain a powerhouse, but they definately need to prove that they deserve that high of a rating.

Michigan in the top 5?

That is the funniest thing I've heard in weeks. Might as well put Pittsburgh in the top 5 as well ;)

I will be more realistic and say my Cornhuskers will start off in the top 20 with the depth and 20+ west coast offense recruits they have coming.

Mel Kiper's Top 10:

10. Virginia Tech

9. Oklahoma

8. West Virginia

7. Auburn

6. Texas

5. Miami

4. USC

3. Ohio St.

2. Notre Dame

1. LSU

Lets see, OU is way too high, so is Miami, and Notre Dame. Wow, and Auburn in the top 10 too. This is one messed up list.

Actually, OU should be in the top 10 with Adrian Peterson in full force along with a more experienced QB. Miami also belongs in the top 10 with much of their team coming back but they should be in the lower top 10, not in 5th. Auburn definitely belongs in the top 10. They arguably were the best team in the SEC this year and with a freshman QB coming in that is a blue chip and is considered to have a better arm than Jamarcus, they have the team.

May I ask what the hell VT is doing in the top 10?

my top 10 would have to be

1. Ohio State

2. LSU

3. Penn State

4. Florida

5. Notre Dame

6. Oklahoma

7. W. Virginia

8. Texas

9. USC

10. Auborn

the reason i got usc and texas so low, is they are losing their playmakers and will be breaking in first time starters at key positions.

Penn State...number 3!?

You gotta be joking right? You do realize that pretty much all of the offensive starters are seniors, and are gone next season. As far as I know, the defense has the same issue. Although, the stud LB will return...that team is no way top 10 (Or 15) material.

Sorry, LSU is going to be the team to gun for in the SEC. If you actually think OU and Miami belong in the top 10, then you might as well put Florida right in front of them. Seriously, I am a diehard gator and with all the talent we have, I still dont think we are top 10, but we are sure as hell are better than Miami or OU.

#1 recruiting class + #1 team in the state of Florida + Urban Meyer in his second year at UF = one amazing squad, and if Florida fans dont think we are top 10, I dont see how you can put all those other schools up there instead. If that is all teh NCAA can muster this year then yea, put Florida in the top 10.

so when everyone else returns a lot of starters, they are top 10 material, but when michigan does, they aren't? it's gonna be a long year for you next year ;)

i have no problems starting around 15-20 though. there are a lot of games, and the big ten is a touch conference. it's gonna come down to beating ND and OSU at their homes, and after back to back losses against both of them, nothing would be better than beating both of them in their house.

Nebraska will go undefeated and win the national championship.. a Michigan Fan Blog has proved it... (http://www.michiganzone.blogspot.com/)

I definately wouldn't mind that.

I agree we'll start off in the top 20, and end up in the top 10, or at least making a run for the top 10.

Although, we do play USC at USC, and Texas at home, I think we might win these games. Texas is losing Young, USC is losing White and Bush. We definately have a chance.

What a time to play them if you ask me :p

Most of them came back this year and look what they accomplished with an extra year of experience. If my year is going to be hard, I don't know what your year should be considered. Maybe you should start planning a trip to the Holiday bowl next season because that's where Michigan will end up going at best ;)

You do realize that their receivers were true freshman, do you? Losing a QB and a few tackles won't affect Penn St. too much especially with their recruiting class coming in.

If your speaking about Posluzny, I believe he has declared for the NFL draft if I'm not mistaken, so you can scratch that if he did.

yeah, most of them did come back this year, but they were still only sophomores. i can excuse that. when you are a junior/senior there are no excuses. i can only hope we get a rematch next year. and wherever you rank nebraska, you better have michigan one spot below you. cuz you didn't beat us by much.
