bren
Hi guys, I am trying to make some convincing looking roll over buttons in photoshop. The buttons need to look 3D and the rollover state must look like the button has been physically pushed. I will try and upload what I have done so far. I have no problems making the button appear 3D, I am just unsure how to make it look like it has been pushed in. Any help appreciated. 0 Lare2
It can be done by changing the direction of gradients. Like the one below I made for a site. There are several ways of doing what you want; it will depend on the type and style of button you’ll be using.
0 bren
Hi guys, Thanks for replying, I get what you are saying, the round ones look convincing, but it seems really hard to make a convincing looking rectangle 3D button. The above examples are pretty much what I have at the minute but they don't really look like they have been pushed. Cheers Bren
