NightmarE D
I did this as a joke because em3 is a fan of Superman, but IMHO it actually looks good
Crayon
ya, the grey one does look kinda weird compared to the black one right now.
arrrgh
I like the new start button candidate, fits the black theme nicely. It would be really awesome if you could fix the issue mentioned in post #
Denis W. Veteran Posted July 11, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 11, 2006 Here is the updated black. :) Only mockup currently. Btw. I created the startbutton in like 2 minutes and it might not be the final one, but I think it looks pretty good. It's the normal state style (not pressed that is). That looks pretty good compared to the current black substyle in LE 5.1. The gloss on LE 5.1's black substyle looks a bit too fuzzy and soft. I did this as a joke because em3 is a fan of Superman, but IMHO it actually looks good

I think it sticks out like a sore thumb. Totally ruins the flow and sleekness.
Jamushroom Veteran Posted July 11, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 11, 2006 No, that is not the corrent black selection color, forgot to mention that. :p Wallpaper. It's number 3 from the top. http://www.desktopmachine.com/cars/7-Audi%...pers.html?t=507 No problem and thanks you :D That wallpaper is going to look hot with the new LE5 :p That's why I wanted it =P
CrazyDelta
@CrazyDelta: You can use Resedit by TGTSoft for that :) Ok, I got Resedit. I even found the Vista Start Button at lunaelement.net However, when I open the LE5 file on Resedit, and then "replace" the startbutton bitmap, I then click save and it says compliation was successful would you want to place this in the window/resource folder, etc etc - nothing happens after that. I even reloaded the visual style in the display properties but the startbutton remains the default one in LE5. Any advise?
Jamushroom Veteran Posted July 11, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 11, 2006 PM me with that question and I'll be happy to help you. Let's keep this topic Modification free now and let's keep it about LE5 :p

em3
I like the new start button candidate, fits the black theme nicely. It would be really awesome if you could fix the issue mentioned in post #441 I think I've explained this before. If I fix it the text won't be center vertically. That looks bad. I did this as a joke because em3 is a fan of Superman, but IMHO it actually looks good  :D

arrrgh
I think I've explained this before. If I fix it the text won't be center vertically. That looks bad. Possible, and if so, sorry for the repeat. I admit I didn't read all 80 pages. :) Fair enough, it's easy enough for me to edit the 2 images (not vertically centered text is less of an annoyance for me than losing 2 pixels :) )

Snire
This style is just great, Em3. I have been using LE since the start, trying some other styles, but always fall back to LE. Thanks for your hard work! Btw. Du er Svensk vel? Hilsen Fra Norge.

virgo89
hi, using LE3 ^^ and was wondering how to make the progress bar solid green color instead of blocks.
Jamushroom Veteran Posted July 13, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 13, 2006 pS- You'll need to edit that in resedit. Change the Progress chunk. I think it's called like that, if not, I would be glad to look it up for you :)
Zoom7000
Great work em3. 1 little request, please replace the "coffee/creamy" menubar colour with a more silvery type, or even a lighter shade like Luna, not something so harsh as in LE. :) Zoom7000
Jamushroom Veteran Posted July 13, 2006 Veteran Share Posted July 13, 2006 The "coffee/creamy" color belongs to Luna Element cause it's in the default LE as well. :p IMO I dont think silver looks good with blue and the black style :) It already has been requested a few times. Zoom7000
I know, personally I think the silver goes better. If you have a look at the Royale theme. It has a silver shade, and the glossy LE caption bars and taskbars are moving more towards Royale than Luna. Either way, I still don't think the "coffee/creamy" colour goes well with the black, blue maybe, but not black. Failing that, it could be "toned" down a little and match the menu bar colour in the Luna theme, not as harsh as in LE as I mentioned before. em3
I might change for the black in the next version depending on how things turn out but not for the blue.
