Unbreakable
I removed the link... But I don't see what's the problem. It's not like I posted it on DA or that I take credit for this... It's not like I posted in on DA or that I take credit for this...I knew abot the "no mod" policy, but for the visual styles only. I believed what Capric0rn meant was that you're not allowed to post nor upload a modded cursor set without em3's permission (unless you did?) despite the fact that you acknowledged him as the original creator. You need his permission first. ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/425759-luna-element-5/page/84/#findComment-588628414 Share on other sites

jimbo11883
It's a small price to pay for having a shellstyle. ;) I'm on Vista, or else I'd be using this right now. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/425759-luna-element-5/page/84/#findComment-588628624 Share on other sites
Zoom7000
Check the toolbar :/ above the listview headers... The only difference I can see between the 2 pics is the fact that the one without a shellstyle has a tiny bit more colour than the one with a shellstyle. Even then, that is one button that isn't coloured and that the text in the address bar is not highlighted. Is that all that is the problem? Because I hardly feel that is "breaking" the theme. Hardly any difference really. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/425759-luna-element-5/page/84/#findComment-588628654 Share on other sites

alpha_omega
The bottom border of the toolbar is darker (more shaded) without a shellstyle. Other than that I see no difference. SooperDoode
It's not that big of a deal. em3 has NEVER had a shellstyle included in his versions of Luna Element so why should the black version be any exception. Tons of people make shellstyle mods and ost them on dA with permission and they're so incredibly simple to implement. It's really not fair to bombard the creator of the VS with requests for a shellstyle when he already stated he has no interest in adding one in. I think the VS looks just fine without it. The tray mod is very nice as is the alt. start button. I've been looking for an alt. start button very much like that one! Now my LE5.1 Black setup is complete! Ah, sweetness. [PLUG] The GNOME Icon Theme looks great with the black version! Everyone should install the Tango Patcher. To resist the Tango Patcher is useless. Your life is worthless without the Tango patcher. Thank you. [/PLUG] Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/425759-luna-element-5/page/84/#findComment-588628715 Share on other sites

SooperDoode
@Capric0rn: Very nice work, only one little thing: the entries in the context menu 'sent to' in Explorer are nearly unreadable. Are you talking about when you hover over an item? The problem with that is that the hover background color is a shade of dark grey and the text is black. Is it possible to change the text color on hover in context menus? I wasn't sure that could be done. The problem with that is that the hover background color is a shade of dark grey and the text is black. Is it possible to change the text color on hover in context menus? I wasn't sure that could be done. The text color cannot be changed in the New/Send to menus. It's a Windows/Explorer bug which probably never will be fixed. So all Capric0rn can do is change the highlight color. SooperDoode
anyone got a dock background made for this yet? Or know of a good one for Object dock that would look good with this? I use Lucidic. It's very nice with a lot of stuff. It's not really LE5 per se but it goes well with it. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/41356218 :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/425759-luna-element-5/page/84/#findComment-588628856 Share on other sites
