Thank you for setting up that wonderful website! You?ve made life so simple for me! I do have one small question though... I now have a bunch of search engine sites in there with no logical order. I would like to arrange them alphabetically if at all possible. Is there a way to do this without to much difficulty? Thank you in advance for your help.

Sorry, I didn't see this post until now. I'll try to find a way.

I figured out the ordering :D

The key name of your search engine in "SearchScopes" seems to determine the order.

So if you had this in your registry:

SearchScopes
> 1Google
>> DisplayName
>> URL
> 2Yahoo
>> DisplayName
>> URL
> 3MSN
>> DisplayName
>> URL

Then you would see your search box in IE7 like this:

MSN

Yahoo

Google

this is a very useful topic, it would be great if websites added the script for search providers at their end. but until they do they i guess this way will have to do for people like us but normal people are just going to have to live without this kind of thing until web developers can be bother to put in the small script to make this work.

also, im surprised how some people in this thread were really happy when they found out that they can now have wikipedia in their search bar even though they could have done it in a few seconds just by clicking the arrow pointing down next to search and then clicking "Find More Providers". some people just dont look around the user interface i guess..
