virtualmadden Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 Come on. You almost caught me last week in pitching. You prob would have been a lot closer in batting had there been less games rained out. If you do give up, I think it'd be better just to leave ur team as is. That way you can come back and take part in the playoffs or consoles and at least have some people to play with. Which makes me think of how much crap I got for pretending to bench my fantasy football team one week. If you look at the players, Eckstein offers nothing to the table besides a hit or two per game, average. I was willing to give up Abreu (ranked 13th best offensive) and Bonds, a home-run hitter, for Beltran, who is batting around .270 and is having a mediocre season so far. I don't think that was an unfair trade.
