Edit: Just tried to install it but came up with this AVG Free Edition 7.1 Setup cannot uninstall this program automatically. Please go to Add Remove Programs to uninstall the program. When you are finished, return to this page and click Continue. Hum
 You can try the Control Panel/Firewall icon, allow the blocked program as an Exception: Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/432002-windows-firewall/#findComment-587190413 Share on other sites

Orange
Nope can't get into Firewall, comes up with this crap  I don't trust this tho 1. Open a CMD.exe prompt. 2. Type the following, pressing Enter after each line: net stop winmgmt del /q %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem\Repository\FS\INDEX.BTR del /q %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem\Repository\FS\OBJECTS.DATA 3. Shutdown and restart Windows XP. 4. Reconfigure ICS and ICF settings because step 2 causes them to be reset to factory defaults. The one in bold... It wont disable my net would it Edited February 13, 2006 by Orange Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/432002-windows-firewall/#findComment-587192142 Share on other sites
