Gamerhomie
I have tried updating now. Out of the 5 critical updates it downloaded, 4 of them installed correctly. The one that didn't was Security Update for Windows XP (KB913446).

Yochanan
yea a patched tcpip.sys file will result in failure, u have to download the file manually to make it work it seems, but now you can't patch the tcpip.sys file if you install the patch until xp-antispy comes out with a new version or some other way is around it, any know? The EvID4226Patch works fine. Screw XPAntiSpy, that thing is junk.
TheNay
tcpip patch worked fine for me, i was using the hacked tcpip like others, it does however reset it to 10, you can still change it with the same patch below though:) www.lvllord.de It comes up as a virus for me, using nod32 :o I guess i'll have to wait til XP-antispy gets updated :(
MrBear5587
There was discussion about this over at Wilders. It's *not* a virus, but NOD32 flags it because it alters system files, and could potentially make your machine unstable. But you're safe to use it. MrBear5587
Glad it's working thenay (Y). I beg to differ about your categorisation of NOD32 nekro, but this thread isn't about AntiVirus apps anyway.

rwphoto
Had to manually patch my 2 XP Home machines. Just follow the link. No problems.
Arckon
I got all of them installed w/o any errors. However, since installing these updates, the extra tab in the network connection settings (Local Area Network) then TCP/IP Properties...the extra tab beside General (I think it was Alternate Configuration) is missing! Has anyone else noticed this?
