Blackima
Evidently whatever it is you searched for, google thought was similar to the kind of thing a computer infected with spyware would search for. What did you search for anyway? I'm curious :p [edit] sorry, my bad. did a quick google for it, and it's probs not as simple as I made it out to be Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/433986-google-problem/#findComment-587212704 Share on other sites
zachacham
here's the search line: "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face tabs" I must say that after I typed the "secure word" I could watch the results strange, huh? Blackima
Oks, I did a quick google on this problem and this was one of the more useful replies I found on it: Don't worry about it, Lionello. Google sometimes throws this message up when its servers get in a tizzy. You don't have a virus (in all probability) and you don't have to take any action. You'll find that Google soon restores normal service. It's an extremely misleading message; I've had it many times and it worried me at first until I did some research on it. A little more. It has to do with Google's ongoing attempts to keep its results 'pure'. Sometimes they temporarily shut out whole blocks of IP addresses, because someone in that range has been attempting to massage their listing. As I say, the service is always quickly restored. I just switch to Yahoo until it comes back up. I repeat, you in all likelihood do not have a virus. (Although it never hurts to keep a constant check with Spybot, Adaware, etc.) Does the problem occur for ALL searches or just that one? Cause if it's just that one, I wouldnt worry too much at all, just rephrase the search. And if it gives the same page for all search queries, I guess that could mean that they've blocked out your IP range for a while. Anyways, just making educated guesses :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/433986-google-problem/#findComment-587212724 Share on other sites

I don't think that I'm blocked, I'm from Israel and there's no reason to be blocked/limited. my ISP is very popular...
