Using TV Out, what cable do I need?

Recommended Posts

I was thinking about how my video card (Stock from Dell) has a TV Out in the form of an S-Video port. I want to hook it to my TV for the hell of it, but I don't know what cable I need. The plugs are as such:

I have the feeling it can't be done, but I'd like to know before I totally give up

radio shack has s-vid to rca adapters (if that's what you really want to do)

you can also get an 1/8" stereo plug to red/white stereo plugs (also get an adapter to sum to mono for your tv)

Can anyone point out the cable I need to be looking for? I can't seem to find anything that'd work on the Radioshack site or anywhere else

Here's another site. Radioshack does have one, except you have to go pick it up yourself and it costs $40. There are also adapters like this, which would allow you to use any RCA cable.
