Simon Veteran Posted February 24, 2006 Veteran Share Posted February 24, 2006 With a lead of 10 to 3 in the 7th end, in the Gold Medal Mens game at the Torino 2006 Olympics, it seems that the Brad Gushue team from Newfoundland, Canada is going to take the gold. Scoring 6 in the 6th end, they almost definitely secured Newfoundlands 1st ever gold medal. This is a big deal for us in Newfoundland, we got half a day off school to watch this game. THe game is still in play, but there is little chance that Finland can take it back at this point.
