DigeratiPrime
well more and more users are using hardware firewalls or nat routers as their primary firewall, including myself. That alone will stealth all your ports and protect you from inbound attacks. However the router will not stop any outbound connections. Winpooch in my tests does an excellent job being an application firewall. I also like how it warns the user when important keys or system folders are being modified. and it does stop leaktest, i tested that long before I wrote this guide, see for yourself: Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/436364-winpooch-foss-firewall-400kb/page/2/#findComment-587387886 Share on other sites
Herby
^^^ More and more is not everyone and in my tests LeakTest is about the only test it blocks. Try the other test at www.firewallleaktester.com ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/436364-winpooch-foss-firewall-400kb/page/2/#findComment-587388420 Share on other sites
