1759 Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 don't matter if its fake or not, Sony will come out with a rushed 3.00 as they need to update syscalls due to MPH's recent discoveries, probably leaving holes they don't intend to. :p My quess is that a new firmware is coming out this month, to support the new video downloads service that Sony talked about awhile back, which was launching in March, IIRC. People will always find loopholes in the system, the only thing that will suck is if the PSP turns into another Dreamcast if games can just pirated and run with an iso loader. With the prices of 2 gig Duo's falling, it's not people can't afford one and run a 1.8 gig UMD iso.
