I know that mac gpu's work with mac drivers, but what if you used a PC version of those drivers(ati.com download drivers for x1600) wouldn't that work in some way since the gpu is on a x86 board? I think that if you're doing this in a way that is going to promote piracy, then MS would be upset and pull the illegal card on you and shut down your operations. The fact of the matter is that OEM computer manufacturers often have modified system files and other stuff on their systems to make them work with their hardware. That's why you have the Dell button in your start menu and other things that manufacturers put in. Microsoft says that modifying files is not permitted because they do not want to support people with hacked uxtheme.dll files and the average joe slipstreamed cd. Installing Windows on a mac is definately a grey area with respect to the law, but I doubt MS would ever care because that means more sale of Windows and Apple doesn't care because if this is common knowledge then some people who want to boot XP and OSX on one machine are going to buy Apple hardware. The thing is that MS and Apple do not want to support each other's products so they just say "no don't do that" and then their hands are washed.
