Since there are so many icons he said that there is a lot of coding that needs to be done but it'll be out soon. M118LR Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 In the new Aug. Windows Updates there is a new shell32.dll included in the updates. This means that all Vista icons in your shell32.dll will change back to XP. You will have to reinstall the Vista Icon Pack to change the icons back to Vista. M118LR Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 If you have already ran the v3.0 patch and notice some of your icons have changed back. This may be why. Microsft has released KB921398 also known as MS06-045 on Windows Update. As part of this update is a new shell32.dll 6.0.2900.2951. This means all of the icons in shell32.dll will change back to XP. If this happens you will have to run the patch again in Safe-Mode to change the icons back to Vista.
