I personally think the idea of an hourglass for the busy cursor, is outdated (it took me about a minute, now, to remember what they call those things). Who uses an "hourglass" anymore? Looks wonderful, with smooth animations. Edit: anti-aliasing does not necessarily make things blurry or hurt precision. In fact, if something has been scaled incorrectly, it can aid it. ClearType is an excellent example of this, because it represents the original font shape more accurately than approximating it to the nearest pixel would.
