crimsonhead
I hope your house will collapse, It would make my day!! u r sad What can I say? I hate the guy, he annoys me. Have you ever seen his show, he's depressing as hell. He always looks like he has a massive hangover. Maybe he's just completely stoned off of baby shampoo, idk. I can see kids trying to hold their breath for 10 minutes. I hope he goes out Houdini style. He'll get what's coming to him. But seriously, theres no danger at all, they have paramedics standing by. People don't drown in front of a zillion people. I've seen magicians, he is not one of them. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/457389-magician-begins-fishbowl-stunt-in-nyc/page/2/#findComment-587469506 Share on other sites

c00ly
so he's getting oxygen through an IV, right? holding breath shouldn't be a problem :p Um.. Oxygen in needle = death by heart attack, i dont know where you got this from, its not even written in the article. And to clear something up the challenge is stay in the bubble full of water for 7 days, then on the 7th day in the last bit hold his breath for about 9 minutes. Vice
I don't understand how this guy can be called a "Magician" He stands in ice with no food for days. He stands on top of a big concrete pillar in New York for days He stays in a Transparent box in London with no food for days He stays in a fish bowl for days, but this time hold's his breath for over 8 minutes. The guy sounds more like an attention ###### then a Magician. I want to see some card tricks not "hey hey hey I can stay in xyz for xyz amount of time" Woopy doo.. Americans are quite kind to David Blaine when he does his tricks in USA they all visit him and clap.. that trick he did in the UK the English flew McDonald burgers passed his box on RC Helicopters, shouted so he couldn't sleep and constantly bombarded his box with objects and paintball guns. You would think he could take a hint and just stop with these petty events. His 15 minutes are well and truly over. Malisk
HAhaha!! What a complete tard-O-Gram!! He won't be able to do it for 8 Minutes without cheating. Do realize who he is though; from Wikipedia: On Monday, November 27, 2000 Blaine began a stunt called 'Frozen in Time'. Blaine spent time in a closet of ice located in Times Square, New York. A tube provided him with air and water, and a tube was provided for removal of his urine. He was encased in ice for 61 hours, 40 minutes, and 15 seconds before being removed. The block of ice was on a stand, with space between the ground, and the ice was transparent, to prove to skeptics that he was inside the ice the whole time. He was taken to the hospital immediately after being removed because doctors feared he was going into shock. He says he still could not walk normally a month after the stunt. A TV special aired covering the stunt. On Monday May 22, 2002 Blaine began a stunt he named 'Vertigo'. Blaine was lifted by crane onto a 100-foot high pillar in Bryant Park, New York. He remained on the pillar, which was 22 inches wide, for nearly 35 hours without food or water or anything to lean on. Blaine appeared to be without safety harnesses and had no safety nets underneath him for almost the duration of the stunt. He ended the feat by jumping down onto a landing platform made of a 12-foot high pile of cardboard boxes. He claimed to have suffered a minor concussion from the jump because of the way his head hit the boxes. You can buy a DVD of his work if you want, they even had a special on here in the US a few years ago before he was known for his "human feats". Some of the **** he can do with cards is amazing. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...+blaine&pl=true It's supposed to explain the tricks he does, but I cant figure it out. Pretty simple midn reading trick http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=56...+blaine&pl=true Biting a coin http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=73...+blaine&pl=true Ring slight of hand http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=25...+blaine&pl=true Edited May 3, 2006 by Bubble Wrap Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/457389-magician-begins-fishbowl-stunt-in-nyc/page/2/#findComment-587470376 Share on other sites
SaLiVa
Some of the **** he can do with cards is amazing. I agree, though I know half of what he does is staged. His card tricks though are amazing. Buy the DVD, put it on Slow-Mo and you'll understand what I mean. He can pass the card to the other hand mid-air, without the audience noticing. It's the best case of hand is quicker than the eye. And with such accuracy too. Then there was another one where he took a womans watch. Though some of the staged stuff kinda puts him down. Like the Taxi with a girls name written on it.
