My old machine had an intake fan, outake fan, an exhuast fan and the noisiest heatsink fan I've heard. I plan on putting a zalman hs/f and buy a new case with 3 120mm fans, will my comp be louder?? And you guys keep on talking about fan controllers, what are they and how do you install them? obsolete_power Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 (edited) My computer has 2 exhaust fans, 1 side fan, 1 radiator fan for my liquid cooling, 1 HDD fan, 1 fan for the liquid cooling pump system, and 1 fan drawing air in from the bottom front of my case. My computer is okay in terms of noise. The main advantage is that the noise isn't high pitched. It is flat. I have replaced all my fans with Vantec Stealth 80mm fans.
