Talking about the past .................. again ......... :whistle: Like history matters in the World Cup :whistle: Of course...for now. If Portugal beats Mexico, lets say, 2-0, then Angola only needs 2 goals. I wonder what happened to Serbia and Montenegro. They played very well in the qualifiers, they were undefeated, and their defense was very much talked about. Of course they must have missed Vidic, but certainly a 6-0 defeat is not one would have expected from Serbia and Montenegro. Hats off to Argentina. 6 goals from 5 players...they sure are firing on all cylinders :p The first game in the World Cup with a big score. Man, am I better at picking Soccer than I am at picking any other sport? The only games I've gotten wrong were: Poland vs. Ecuador on Day 1 (I picked Poland) USA vs Czech Republic on Day 4 (USA) Japan vs Australlia (Japan) If you happen to wonder, here are my predictions for today: Portugal vs. Iran - Portugal Czech Republic vs. Ghana - Czech Republic Italy vs. USA - Italy I've been even using Excel 2007 to plot it all out! Outside my house, there are, in all honesty, about 60+ cars honking and waving Portuguese flags. Ghana have had about ten clear goalscoring oppertunities, they get the ball in the box and no Czech player is closing them down. It's just like "have a shot".
