Van Bommel went down a bit to easy, but if the referee saw Figo's headbutt he would been sent off :/. I think FIFA will look at it though and he may be banned for his next international game. djpnuemo Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 after seeing the replay, yes, he was hit in the face. not at all intentionally, in my opinion. he definitely wasn't hit as hard as he played it out to be. to book him out of the game, was purely to even things out. screw this game. 10 cards... ? come on. i see it all the time with portugal. which is another reason i don't like c. ronaldo and deco. they'll fall down begging for fouls on the weakest of tackles. They cheat to get others sent off or to gain penalties. What about playing to the rules of the game? And in the above statement, I include those English players that cheat to gain an advantage. Football should have Rugby referees take charge. The players would soon know who is in charge.
