The australian player slid for the ball, didnt get it and even TRIED to move his head out of the way for the italian player. Clearly it wasnt a penalty. That ref is going to get hung and linched if he ever steps foot in Australia. Well, it was clear they were playing for OT by the way they played all the second half. When Italy counter attacked with 4 players and left 6 in the back (goalie included), Australia would take its sweet time going up the field instead of attacking the 6 men with full speed to catch them off guard. What, don't they know Italy has one of the toughest defenses in the World Cup?
