Exactly... they need to bring in video calls when there is any doubt. As usual FIFA are behind the times and the games suffer. Far too much Brazilian theatrics and plenty of dodgy calls. I know they have to get a better homecoming than the US team, they were ripped apart on TV, news, sports magazines, you name it. You know its bad when a station was deciding to play the local women's backetball game over the US in the world cup in my city. I was watching the Brazil - Australia match yesterday and I noticed that for two minutes, while Brazil circulated the ball around the Australian box, Ronaldo just stood there and just moved his head around to follow the ball when his teammates were trying to see if he would make a run. Nonetheless, when he gets a chance, he usually puts it in, but that's usually when he's 1-on-1 like today and like the first goal against Japan. Nonetheless, we will see how good Brazil really is against either Spain or France. djpnuemo Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 i'm a big fan of this french team, but this world cup has been so disappointing. and again, ribery, messing up opportunities. he should not be starting. thank god he redeemed himself for all his mistakes through this world cup, with that goal. i'm betting, he'll miss another golden opportunity in the second half. take his scared butt off and get trezeguet (sp) in there!!! it's very frustrating watching the french team not even moving the ball forward. just forcing the high ball and going offside every attempt. sickening. game DEFINITELY picked up in the last 5 minutes.
