What a game! Congrats to Italy, they deserved the win.

Congrats to the ref as well. He is the one that made this game great by whistling no fouls.

Del Piero is suuuch a good player... good thing Italy put him on the play!!

Bye Germany... good match

@ Lethal: But... but what about your signature... I thought you wanted one more for Zidane??

anyway... i'm still for France tomorrow... hopefully they will defeat Portugal!

Allez les bleus!

I thought Germany played better, though Italy definitely deserved to win - those two goals were exceptional. I was absolutely astounded when they scored the second! Top game.

germany played better????!!! are you kidding me? tell me, how many germans were able to pass through their defender without passing the ball?

but how many times the italians skillfully crossed over or ran over the german defenders.. some very beautiful plays.

WOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Absolutely, what a game! The goals were sublime, the ref was invisible! That is the way to referee a game! All credit to the players as well, there was very little diving and the normal nonsense that goes on. This is what the world cup is all about! :)

Germany, to me, seemed to make better chances and have more possession (particularly towards the end) - Italy had plenty of opportunities but were often wasted and quite messy. That's only my opinion, no need to bite my head off. As I said, Italy still deserved to win because they finished the game with style.
