Looks like a well lived space Wolf, spend a lot of time there aye? :)

Aye! Tend to spend my weekday evenings there; out of the house from 7am till 5pm. See the girlfriend weekends and friends late evenings. It's the only room I need.

It's basic but it does the job. PC tower is below to the left(As in directly underneath where the Xbox 360 is) but its an ugly Packard Bell case so no need to show it.

I have that Keyboard, i don't think Packard Bell made it....... :D

Eh? Packard Bell did make it. Or at least they plastered their logo on it. Was ?40 in the shop and I really wanted it but wasnt going to pay out that much. So got it for ?15 off eBay.

And I feel obliged to show the PC tower now in all its hideousness.

I wouldnt mind but all the case does it make it a hell of a lot more bulky than it needs to be.

I'm thinking of purchasing/getting someone to make me a half tower PC. It would be a lot more convinient to ship to Uni and back.

mrk, that is really nice and clean and dust free. the tft is gorgeous.

do you not have any speakers or do you just use those headphones?

I love those questions :D mainly because I wubs my speakers!

Yup

All my sources output via the receiver. If it wasn't so damn big and heavy I'd lug it to lans to power my headphones :p

i remember seeing a video of your speakers and the excursion of the drivers was pretty nuts

whats the specs of your speakers again??

What monitor is that?

It's widescreen?

It's the Hyundai N91W 19" widescreen, specs are 5ms, 800:1 contrast and 3 video inputs :)

Here's a more in front pic:

What camera is that?

Canon 300D

What lens on what camera, and what speakers? lol

:)

I used the 18-55 for that shot but I have others too.

I still have that video :p - my speakers and receiver are from the early 90's, they don't make analogue audio equipment like they used to and IMO the best stuff was made back then when the then big names (Pineer, Kenwood, Sherwood, Gale etc) were the only big names around until Sony and everyone started making consumer grade stuff and selling them cheap.

The speakers are 100w/pc @ 6 ohms and are made by a company called JPW and the receiver is a Kenwood KRV7050 Dolby model. The driver ring on the speaker is silicone which aids the excursion and bass note.

I use lineout from my Santa Cruz (also an old skool yet regarded as one of the best soundcards for movies and music around) to the line in on the source of the receiver and control all volume from there. No software EQ or anything as they all suck :p

New desk and bed/mattress, I haven't got my new thermaltake case in the mail yet though, so I am just using my laptop and LCD.
