PowerDVD 7 Skins

Thanks for the skin, but I'm still very unhappy with PowerDVD 7 since it is not possible any longer to move the control panel to a second monitor in full screen mode. Does anybody has an idea? What about PowerDVD 8?

Great job on these skins.

Would it be possible to get a dark colored skin (black or blue) created for PowerDVD 8? Or the current skins migrated to a PowerDVD 8 format?

Thanks, again.

Vern

Question where in the .dll files did you edit to get rid of the extra images overlayed over the background I am trying to make some new ones for PDVD8 right now and you can edit the .dll in similar fashion and I am trying to find where to get ride of the overlay pics that PDVD put on there backgrounds. I am only a novice program pls help.

Differences between these and the default skins (Mercury & Onyx):

Removed: DVD logo, Feature Icons, Cyberlink logo's, Colour themes & the Upgrade button.

Smaller Taskbar Mode -> PDVD7taskbar2.jpgPDVD7taskbar1.jpg

Changed the AutoHideDuration (Fullscreen) to 1000 (= 1 second) instead of 3000, replaced the Backgrounds,

changed the Step backward and Step forward buttons and commands to Rewind and Fast forward.

You can still use the Step backward and Step forward buttons in the Undocked Player Panel and the Control

Wheel Mode or by using the Shortcut Keys: Ctrl+B (Step backward) and T (Step forward).

Install: Copy the dll files to "%ProgramFiles%\CyberLink\PowerDVD\Skins" open PowerDVD,

select the User Interface Tab in the Configuration Screen, select a skin from the list and click OK.

I need ONYX.DLL (default black skin of PowerDVD 7)

Herby has already posted it on page 5 --> http://www.herbystweaks.net/files/Onyx.zip

Here's my skin. Hope You like it...

MyOnyxGirl Skin for PowerDVD 7: http://rapidshare.com/files/200848087/MyOnyxGirl.rar

------------------------------

--> Based on the Herby's - Guide:

HerbysTweaks.net

--> Also based on Onyx BF Skin by bichi:

https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=588584957

- used Herby's work as a guide

- modded stock PowerDVD 7 "Onyx" skin

- used the following Herby features, but left "Feature Icons" and stock speed controls:

* removed: DVD logo, Cyberlink logo's, Color themes & the Upgrade button

* changed the AutoHideDuration (Fullscreen) to 1000 (= 1 second) instead of 3000

* replaced the Backgrounds.

--> Also based on Daily Desktops Girl Skin by NIKTO:

https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=588398376

(You may ask why I still use PowerDVD7 ?? I tried PowerDVD 8, but when using its MPG2-decoder with DVBViewer for heavy zapping, then it sometimes mutes the audio. :o( Therefore I had to go back to PowerDVD7. ;O) )
