Steelers' Roethlisberger Is in Accident

You fail to realize that Ben didn't lead anybody because he barely even threw 20 passes/game. Without that running game, Ben would be mediocre

So, could Trent Dilfer have won a Super Bowl with the Steelers? Their defense was nowhere close to the Raven's Super Bowl defense.

I'm with Bro, I'd take a guy like Ben who doesn't make mistakes and put pressure my defense to make plays all the time. Granted, he isn't going to throw for 400 and 5 every game but we've seen what guys like that accomplish (hint: Marino, Manning). Something has to be said for intelligent play on the field...not turning it over, making sure that 3rd down pass gets at least a first down, managing the clock, etc. Other than Tom Brady, Ben is the at the top of that mountain.

Regardless, the helmet issue is a slap in the face. Here in California, in order to ride a bicycle on city streets, you HAVE to wear a helmet or you can be cited. Pennsylvania needs to go back and re-write their laws because wearing a helmet on a motorcycle should not be an option. Period.

I agree with you that Ben an Brady both manage the game well without necessarily standing out on their own. A few years playing fantasy football teaches you that. As successful as Brady is, he's not a good Fantasy pick because he doesn't put up crazy stats.

Now, I have to disagree with you about helmet laws, though. I think that is your choice and there should be no law against it. If you want to risk killing yourself, that's your business. I think it is incredibly stupid to not wear a helmet, but I don't think there needs to be laws saying you have to.

Was sorry to hear about Big Ben's accident and hope he's going to be ok.

As for the helmet issue, I want to know why in the hell do I HAVE to wear a seatbelt (law requires it) and they don't have to wear a helmet. Does that make sense to anyone??

The reason he doesn't throw for those stats is because they run the ball more than 60% of the time, which is what I stated before
