giga Veteran Posted June 27, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 27, 2006 is that a rearpro ? and/or DLP tv ? what size/resolution ? Looks very nice. Indeed a DLP. It's a pretty nice tv and HD sources really do make it shine. It's 62" and outputs at 1080p. (1920x1080)
icecaveman
Really messy but hey, I'm 15. Considering your age it's very nice and way more expensive than most people your age can afford. Where do you work?

Trong
Considering your age it's very nice and way more expensive than most people your age can afford. Where do you work? ---------------- ---------------- :p I don't work, I save up lots of money that I recieve from my relatives. Christmas, birthday, good grade rewards. The TV was a birthday gift though. I've had the surround sound for a year from saving up. TV just got in 2005. And I saved up money from Christmas and selling all my old consoles for the Xbox 360. We're not exactly wealthy but we have some spare change. It's kinda wierd how I'm Buddhist but I celebrate Christmas. Those silly asians. [Edit] I would have applied for a job this summer but I forgot all about working licenses. Oh well, I'll get a job when I get back in school this Fall. Coolme
2 Cable recievers feeding my dual tuner media center 2005 computer (on the bottom) and controlled by it, note the cardboard so that the media center can control the boxes independantly, ghetto. My Yamaha 5.1 Rcciever / Amp sits in between. Love this amp Care to explain exactly how the cardboard can do that?
Inertia
i should take a pic of my 360 being kicked across my room when perfect dark would not load. I think i just figured out why you have PD loading problems. Care to explain exactly how the cardboard can do that? Well the 2 cable recievers are directly above each other Media center 2005 has 2 IR "bugs" in order for it to be able to control each box but because the boxes are the same and close together, when it trys to change just 1 they both pick up the signal and change channel. The piece of cardbaord stops this by not allowing box 1`s ir bug to change box 2 and vice versa. you can see the bugs taped to the front of each box. Matrix XII
It's interesting to see how many people have HDTV's (and nice ones) in these setups. I guess MS is right that people want to play games on HD. I certainly do! I have a Toshiba 62" DLP HDTV, the difference is huge compared to my 51" Projection TV. However, looking at your setup, I now want something bigger :o Imnot a huge fan of Rear pro / DLP , I migth get a ~ 50 - 60" plasma or LCD in the future though
