Outlook Rules Error

Question

All,

I'm having a few problems at work with my Outlook Rules!

Unfortunately I cannot ring the helpdesk as I am the helpdesk!

Currently any rules I create are not running and come up with an error. I have re-created the rules several times to make sure I haven?t messed them up, but still don?t work.

The system is setup as an Exchange server (which I am not an admin, and the admin person doesn?t really know what the problem is).

I have attached the problem below, but basically the rule error states it cannot find the specified folder. They are there, honest!

Any suggestions?

I've seen this. The folder is there, but if the old one was deleted and recreated, or the PST/OST files was moved from one machine to another, the folder ID is technically missing. Look at the rule, and choose the correct folder again. It may say something like "move it to the specified folder", instead of the correct folder name (where it says specified).

Tried that!

I have even deleted the folder i'm trying to move to and recreated it (in hope that the files would get sync'ed with the server), but that still didnt work!

Did you make sure the parameter "Only on other machine" or something like that was removed?

Post a SS of your rules, if you can.

I'll sort one out in the morning as i am now home drinking beer!

(with regards to the rule itself, only two options are ticked, 1. from address, 2. move to specified folder).
