DVD Menu authoring help!

Heres the deal...

I have a picture that was taken of a list of songs to be played

I want to make a dvd menu of it...

I pulled it into photoshop, made a buncha layers (each a 'highlight' of the song for the menu)...and now i want to actually make it a menu.

I have tried a tutorial i read (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/photoshop.htm) however, unless maybe im doing something wrong, reeldvd didnt cut it...it loaded the psd fine, except it flattened all the layers, instead of, as i was hoping itd do, assuming the extra layers are the buttons.

Any suggestions on a dvd authoring program that can make menus w/ images? maybe something wehre i can do 'rollovers' or something?

I just tried DVDit Pro 6, in the screenshots almost looked like itd do what I wanted...but alas, it still just sticks the images on top...

any ideas about this? maybe i am just doing it wrong and these programs can handle it?

Tried a couple more apps (eg dvd menu studio) but still no luck...

still no ideas?
