Changing DVD language

Hello all. I received a DVD movie last week from my uncle in Europe. Unfortunately, the audio language of the movie appears to be Italian. I ripped the movie (for my personal purposes) and I was wondering if there is a software which could somehow convert it because I know the movie is in English based on the credits and a little bit of lip reading. And yes I know I could use subtitles but I am curious about the converting thing. Thanks in advance.

How would you convert something that isn't there in the first place? If there's no english audio track, there's nothing you can do.
