That maybe the case in 2018 because lots of Canadian kids do like it, New MLS club for Toronto, Hosting the 2007 Under 20 World Cup. So their is interest.

But I don't think it's no.1.

I didn't pull these facts out of my a##

More people participate in organized soccer leagues in Canada and the USA than any other sport. More than hockey, football, baseball, and baskebtall. There just isnt support for a major proffesional league (MLS is still insignificant). There are already too many other major sports for soccer to make it big, but I would love for it to happen. Because pro-soccer league (like EPL or Bundesliga) never hit it big in North America, the development programs for soccer aren't up to par with youth development of the other major sports. Thats why you don' see top tier soccer players in the world. Its quite unfortunate, but slowly things should turn around.

Why 2018 ?

We dont know yet which country will host 2014.

Because 2014 will be held in South America. Argentina, Brazil or Colombia.

However, the 2018 is very interesting. Europe wants to host it again (after 2010 South Africa and 2014 South America). But don't you reckon it'd be fair if it returned to Asia again?

Majority votes for his/her own country. Seeing as most of the neowinners are from UK, the poll outcome is easy to predict.

As far as WC2018. It will most likely be held in South America. Highly unlikely for Europe to get the host the cup once again so soon. Australia would be insteresting as well.

Because 2014 will be held in South America. Argentina, Brazil or Colombia.

FIFA are dragging their feet about picking a South American country, i think they will leave it as late as possible, and then a couple of months later they will say there isn't sufficient infrastructure/safety/money..... and other excuses. Then they will award it to another country, remember, you heard it here first :D
